6 Great Years! 1-29-09

Today was our 6 year anniversary so we decided to do it big and head to our favorite place to eat... Wing Stop lol!! Aaron wore sweat pants to eat dinner for our anniversary! lol can you believe that?? Well I guess thats how it goes 6 years in lol! We had fun still, as always! We both of course worked today but I started my day by shopping with my mom! We bought tons of cute decorations for the engagement celebration that I am throwing for me and Aaron tomorrow night lol! Just a bunch of friends getting together for dinner and a fun time lol! Cant wait! xoxo

Ice day!

Most of my clients canceled today because of the icy roads.... and since Aarons classes were canceled too, we spent the first part of the day together! We went to eat lunch at Colters and then shopped at Wal-Mart for a little bit... they had a lot of movies for $5 so we bought a few! Aaron also got me roses for our 6 year anniversary tomorrow!!! They are white with pink tips and so very beautiful! I took them up to work with me this afternoon that way I can enjoy them for the rest of the week!

So I worked a short day from about 3 to 6 today and then went to eat dinner at On the Border! I could eat mexican food anyday but its not Aarons fav lol! Tonight he agreed tho and it was fantastic! haha!

We have been watching a new series on the SPIKE channel... Its a UFC show featuring BJ Penn (boo) and George St. Pierre (woo hoo) This show only has 3 episodes and then they fight this saturday! We are going for GSP fo sho! Not only is he a better fighter... he is waaaay cuter lol! xoxo

Year 6! 2008

2008 was great!! In Jan. I took a girls trip with my best friend Kimberly to San Antonio. We went shopping and ate on the river walk, it was a really fun time just talking about everything! Aaron and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Jan 29th. That was really exciting for us! I bought my car in March. Its a Chevy HHR-SS black and fully loaded! I love my car sooo much, its so easy to drive and very roomy. I miss the stang tho!!

I turned 21 in April! It was my golden birthday! Aaron took me out to dinner at PF Changs yum.... I ordered my first alchohalic drink! Nutty Uncle, it was tall, pink and delicious! Then he took me to get tatted up! Its a pink heart on the top of my foot, it hurt pretty bad but it only took a few minutes! We had my birthday partaaay at Andrew and Hollys house! Invited a bunch a friends and most showed up!! Aaron sat on my cake but it still looked okay! HAHA (just joking, it looked like he sat on it so thats what I told everyone!) I had a great time at my birthday party! I had on new cute pink shoes that showed off my TAT very nicely lol! We had bought pink cups for everyone and made lots of tasty drinks!

In May me and Kimberly took 4 days and went to Disney World!! We had an awesome time, took a million and 1 pictures and even got to stay at two different resorts! The first ones power went out... we thought it would be bad but we made friends with our neighbors and even got some free pizza and a flashlight out of the deal! Our next resort was just as nice and the pool I think even better!

I was home for a whole day before we left for VEGAS BABY!!!! My grandma took me, Aaron and my parents along with my cousin Jessica her husband Charles and my aunt monica and my great aunt Ellen to Las Vegas! We had SOOOO much fun! Aaron and I were up for 26 hours straight the first night... I wouldnt do that again because we were soo tired the rest of the trip! Me and Aaron got to take a free Limo ride, it was a stretch expedition limo and the driver took us up and down the strip, that was sooo fun!! I had bought a really hott dress but didnt even wear it! I did wear my new shoes tho! They KILLED my feet but looked good so I didnt mind! We watched the Fountain show at the Bellagio and got ice cream at New York, New York! We had a fabulous time and I would love love love to go back again!

Later that summer we took a weekend trip to float the river! We had a blast and definitely plan to do that again... Aaron and I went to IKEA to look around and its just toooo overwhelming!! There is too much to see there! haha but we had a good time sitting down on all the couches!

I went to California in july to see my very good friend Stephanie! She moved there in the 8th grade and I have missed her terribly! I had a great time visiting with her, she showed me EVERYTHING! We shopped, layed out on the beach, went to disney land and I even got to experience an EARTHQUAKE!!! Sitting eating lunch at subway and all the sudden while Im talking on the phone to Aaron stuff starts shakin and falling off the walls lol so we ran out to see, seriously the trees looking like when someone does that rubber pencil trick!!! You know what Im talking about! lol! CRAZY! It was a really fun trip and I would love to take Aaron back so he could see the beauty that is California haha!

My last trip of 2008 was back to Florida with my fam and my gram for a few days at Universal Studios! Such a fun place, if you haven't been you should go! Its got some really great rides and tons of fun things to see! They have a ride there that is an EARTHQUAKE simulations and get this... it happens when your on a subway... Weird that I was in a subway (resturant) eating when I experienced a real one lol!!!! (jake) That is ironic lol!

I moved to a new room at my salon! I am in the very front one now... its prime realestate! haha. Since everyone in the salon knows me now and knows that I am here to work, I decided I would be.. well.. ME and paint my room PINK!!!! Its Amazing! All the walls are pink and then one has stripes on it! My furniture is still black and I added a really big, long mirror for a new look! I love my room at work and everyday is bright!!

Halloween was really fun... we decorated the house all spooky and passed out candy to the little kids! Then got dressed up for a halloween party, I wore my tinkerbell outfit again and Aaron went as a cowboy... lol with HUGE Chapps and a Huge hat! It was really funny!

The Holidays came and went way too fast this year. We didn't even have time to put up our christmas tree :( We did go look at christmas lights with our friends Josh and Jolina, we sang christmas carols and had a great time hanging out lol!

On Dec 14th Aaron took me by total suprise and asked me to MARRY HIM!!!! Best day EVER!!!! haha of course I said yes! I am seriously obsessed with my engagement ring and can not wait to start planning our wedding!

New Years we were at my house. My parents asked my brother jake and his band to play at around 7, so we piled people in and had a concert in the living room! they are really good and I cant wait to have a cd! On new years day me and Aaron left for KCMO. to visit Matt and Tara! We had so much fun catching up with them! We miss having them close to us! We were hoping to see my friend Nikki from beauty school and her husband Ryan while we were there.. but our trip was cut short and we had to come back a day early. We will have to make it back out there again to see them!!! Well that took us ALLLLL the thru to 2009!!! xoxo

Year 5! 2007

Aarons still at UTA.... but he likes it so thats good! His classes are tough so he has to spend a lot of time studying and reading over notes but he always does good on his tests! Im really proud of him!! I moved to a new salon... I have my own room here with my own sink and everything! I painted it Red on one wall, tan color on the other 3 and all my furniture is black! Its very Chic! Very Sophisticated. Most of my clients followed me and I even gained a few from the move! Aaron was finally able to see a Doctor that could help him with his TMJ!!! Best news all year! He got fitted for a mouth piece that he wears all the time and another one just for night! That has helped soo much with the headaches. He has even been able to ride his Dirtbike which is something he missed a lot!! We are so glad that he is feeling back to normal! I went to Disney World 3 times this year! Me and my mom took my grandma and my great aunt ellen in Jan. It was fun but different with them because they are a little slower! We took our time and saw a lot of new things! We got my grandma on almost all of the rides. They even did Tower of Terror!!! haha! I LOVE IT!!! I went again in may with my parents and my little brothers! We had gone as a family 2 times before and this time we went to Universal Studios too! Then in Dec. me, my mom and my grandma went back to Disney for Christmas! Not actually on christmas but right before. It was unbelievable!!! They go ALL out for christmas time... the castle is covered in icicles and they even make it snow on main street! Oh and we cant forget about the Osborne Spectacle of Lights... that was amazing... building after building covered in lights! I love Disney World and cant wait to go again! xoxo

Year 4! 2006

Im still working in Mansfield and and Aaron is starting at UTA this year! YAY!!! haha! It was exciting when he got his acceptance letter! My family sold the house I had lived in all my life awww... and we moved 6 houses down the street!! But before we could move down the street we had to look at a million houses and even move into one for about 3 weeks inbetween. That 3 weeks was not so fun. I think I took 3 showers! haha! No really it was just old and not "our" house so it felt weird there... but the room I had was HUGE!!! and had 2 closets!! that was pretty cool. haha. My room now is good too tho, when we moved in I painted one wall a Bright Pink and the other three white... and my closet is pink too! It was really a fun color! I also redid my bathroom... it had the most gorgeous wallpaper... NOT!!!! I stripped it aaallll off and retextured the walls. It still needs to be painted haha! I didnt get that far :/. I think I spent most of this summer in the pool! It was very nice and I got very tan. Im pretty sure this is the year Aaron bought his Camaro! Its Navy Blue Metallic, has T-tops and leather interior! Its super nice... Aaron has done a lot to the car (or Lucille as he calls her lol) since he bought it... like new wheels and tires... new grill, lowered it, and added a sweet new hood and spoiler! He loves his car! welp that about it! xoxo

Year 3! 2005

This was the year I was done with beauty school! I graduated in June but didn't get to take my State Board test until Sept. We got to drive to Austin for my test, my mom went and my friend Nikki from beauty school went too! She wanted to see what it was all about before she had to go! She was my model for the facial and manicure part! It was hard to be serious after doing it on eachother all thru school and getting to laugh as we did the SILLY, LITTLE, THINGS they made you do!! But I passed and started at The Hair Company in Oct.! It was alittle old house they had turned into a salon... I worked with some really nice ladies that taught me a lot! Aaron continued at TCC and still wasn't able to work so we did A LOT of hanging out at home and watching movies!! haha!! We always had fun tho!! xoxo

Year 2! 2004

Our second year together was filled with a lot of change lol! We had prom in April! It was sooo much fun, it was at the Diamond Club at the Ballpark in Arlington. Then after prom was at FunFest, we played lazer tag and arcade games and wore matching T-shirts that said My Girlfriends HOTT and and My Boyfriends HOTT on them! haha!!! In May Aaron graduated from high school and he started at TCC in the Fall.
I started beauty school at OGLE that year! That was a really fun time and I made some life long friends! I continued to work at Planet Beach Tanning Salon. I loved that job, I actually got hired there when I was 15 and worked there till I was 18! I worked for really fun bosses Shelby and Anson and had a great time with all the girls that worked with me! Aaron got a job with DHL in May and really liked it until Dec... right before Christmas Aaron was hurt at work which caused him to be off for the next two years, dealing with pain and Doctors and trying to go to school still. It was pretty rough for a while! Right after christmas we got Charlie Brown! He is a chihuahua and was a very fiesty little puppy! The night we went to get him was a pretty cold one and all the dogs came running around to the front of the house. Charlie was able to squeeze thru a spot in the gate and came barking at our feet! I scooped him up and fell in love right away!!! I think that covers the major points of 2004! xoxo

The First Year! 2003

Over the next year we did soooo many fun things! Aaron made us agreat homemade fettucine alfredo dinner for Valentines Day, he took me to see Disney Princess' on Ice for my 16th birthday! We went on a local Mission Trip with our church to work on the camp we would be going to later that summer! We celebrated our 6month anniversary at Steak n' Ale... Aaron gave me a beautiful ring (that I wore until he proposed and replaced it with my engagement ring!) and I showed him the scrapbook I put together of our first 6months of dating! We carved pumpkins at halloween, little Orange Herbert! haha! We went to our church Fall Festival dressed as a Pirate and Tinker Bell! We bought a little 5ft Christmas tree and decorations that we have put up together every year until this past christmas... this year we were a little busy and didnt ever have a chance to do it :(

Our first year FLEW by!! On our One year Anniversary, Aaron took me to dinner and gave me another ring! This one was a dark blue Sapphire! Its sooo pretty... we joked that I would end up with every color jewel... that has not been the case! haha! xoxo

Our first DATE!

For our first real date Aaron took me to eat at Chilis and to see the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days! We sat on the very first row aaaallll the way on the side. It was such a cute movie but our necks were soooo sore after that!! It was a great first date! xoxo

2 Weeks later on a friends date!

Probably a week or 2 later Aaron asked me to a High School Basketball game and to eat pizza with his family before. So I said yes and I had a really good time! We went together to pick up the pizza, and while we were there a girl also waiting for pizza told me she likes my boots! They were tan boots with a round toe... I was also wearing my tan coat wtih the white fuzzy trim, jeans that laced up in the front and didnt have back pockets lol and my long sleeved white shirt with the flower design on the front from Abercrombie! haha! On our way to get the pizza Aaron turned the heat on for me but a few mins later asked if I was warm enough because his feet (in his slide on birkenstocks) were seriously burning! haha. It was a great first "friends" date. lol! xoxo!

Fast Forward to good ol Instant Messaging!

Now Im 15 and talking on AOl IM with my friend Jenny! She knew EVERYONE!!!! She was also talking to Aaron on IM and he asked about me! That night Aaron IMed me and ended up asking for my number! But like a guy he didnt save my number and lost it!! A few nights later I was about to leave for a Lock-in at my church, when Aaron showed up at my door!! Good thing I looked cute in my light blue cowl neck sweater and dark skinny jeans with black boots! haha! Its a joke now that the whole time he was talking to me and asking for my number again, my WHOLE family was standing behind me in the living room looking at him lol!! So I gave him my number and I left for the lock-in. When I got to the Church my friend Andrew (this is the one whose party I met Aaron at) came up to me and said Aaron had come up there with some of his friends but since I wasn't there yet they left. I was a little late because my dad had taken me to get some dinner before the lock-in... So I missed seeing him up there but it made for a funny story later. xoxo

Fast Forward 8 months!

This time Aaron saw me!!! haha! My friend Maegan invited me and my mom to a Highschool Football game with her and her mom. It was REALLY cold that night so I wore my really warm green Calvin Klien sweater and my Doc Martin brown boots! Me and mom were leaving a little early when... I hear him YELLING my name lol!! I turn around to see not Aaron but a group of girls giving some very mean looks!! Aaron waved but... I wasn't about to go over there with the univiting girls! hah! xoxo

Fast Forward 2 years!

Same place 2 years later! I was late getting to the birthday party because I had been babysitting that night. As I walked in I saw Aaron and a few friends leaving. Too bad he didn't see me because I was wearing a new sweater that night from Oldnavy! It was blue and red mostly but it had a lot of small colored stripes on it... it was a little itchy but its never about comfort!! H still says if he had seen me, he definitely would have stayed! xoxo

Young Love, First Love

I first met Aaron at a friends Jr. high birthday party! I was only 12 and still wearing Limited TOO!! The night before the birthday party I had gone to a Valentines Dance at young jr. high with my friend Jenny. I had my hair done at Ogle for the dance and had left it twisty on the top for the birthday party! I wore a 3/4 length orange shirt from limited too and my doc martin boots! Aaron made sure he sat next to me during the Catch Phrase game... It worked to his advantage that we had to sit boy, girl, boy, girl! xoxo
